I'd like to start my day knowing what my whole schedule for the day is and know that I can follow the schedule and complete it. Sometimes when I don't get things done that I want to complete I get very upset; how about you?
You know what might help for that? I used to have a weekly planner, and would write my scheduled appointments in it, and then on a large "Post-It"
tm type piece of paper make a list of "other" stuff I wanted to get done. (Stuff that there was no rush on: "Laundry" "Clean Oven" "Pick up Prescription" etc.)
I would put the Post-it on the current day and cross off my appointments and chores as I fit them in. Anything that didn't get done from the Post-it, I picked up and applied to the next day, possibly adding something else (or a few things.) Some things never got done, because you just seriously don't want to do them, but it's a good way to make sure you don't honestly *forget* things.
