Post subject: Pet Shop Boys Online has completely flipped out

I am so damned upset. (Oops! Sorry for my bad language!) The forum on Pet Shop Boys Online has completely flipped out. From have being a really good forum in which the members could discus Pet Shop Boys, their music, their look, their..., but now it has become a place in which people just insult each other and nearly seem to compete in who is the worst on insulting. This is so really sad and I really can't stand it anymore. I have tried several times to tell what I feel about that forum, but everytime it ends up with that Indeedy gets damned and tells me that if I don't like that forum it's just to leave it. Even Danny79 is on her side. Fine, of course I could. I don't need to be there. I may stay here as well, but both Indeedy and Danny79 forget something really important. It's true that I complain very much, but the most important of all this is that there is a real reason for it. For being honest The Pet Shop Boys Online forum looks like a sand pit in which the members don't seem to do anything else than insult each other. Because of that Indeedy gets so angry there is no idea on post this on Online and complain there. That's why i tuen here and write it here. Now I have a question; Am I the only one who sees this? If you read this and are with me, please post here.
I have seen the forum change from a nice forum to a forum where people are insulting each other. I don't like it either. But maybe if you try to ignore those who insult you or trying to get your attention, they will eventually stop. When people were insulting me, I got angry back. But it didn't help at all. On the contrairy: more and more people were blaming me for insulting others. And it doesn't make you feel better either. So I decided not to respond when someone's trying to insult me and probably they will stop soon. And people will like you better. Maybe you can try that sometime. PSB Online can become a nice place again.

Two things drive me crazy about that board:
1) Chris Dahl doesn't seem to do any actual moderating so everything gets dumped on Indeedy, who doesn't have the power to ban anyone, and has too many friends there maybe to do a good job of being an authority figure.
2) They don't seem to have any interest in talking about Pet Shop Boys, lol.
3) ("Ok, THREE things" - [sub]a little Monty Python humor there[/sub]) There are a couple people who are a) stupid and b) crazy and ruining it for everyone else.
I've never been to the chat room - I'd like to but it sounds like too much of a madhouse. They should set it so you can only log in as your sign-in name so everyone knows who you are, and have a system where you can see who's currently chatting so you can avoid anyone you have a problem with. I don't have much in the way of computer skills so I wouldn't know if it's possible to set it up like that, but I know you can do that on IRC chat at least.

Yeah, you got a point there. You put your finger on the right things. It seems like more an insulting board more than a Pet Shop Boys discussing forum. Before maybe it was a good Pet Shop Boys forum, but now it has changed to a bad insulting board.
It's just so easy to criticize the attitudes or behaviors from others (person), the analysis is even more easy when somebody is excluded (YOU).
I have read every your post in this forum, my question for you skorpion;
which is your contribution in petshopboys-online? what are you write there?
when you criticize you must do it in base of your own contributions, I have read that you keeps on complaining yourself about chilean forums and about lydia yet, so...
what the ??? are you talking about??

She's not saying it SHOULD change, she's saying as it is it's not her style. What are you getting so het up about? And why are you coming here to complain about it instead of taking your own advice?
Instead of being a forum on which you can duscuss Pet Shop Boys in a serious way you became called a nerd if you like them. Just a nice psb-forum.
