Anyone attending any shows on the Yes/Pandemonium tour? I'll be seeing them in San Francisco again. I splurged for the backstage VIP tickets so I'm excited about that - hopefully it won't turn out to be frustrating and lame like the book signing last time. I also don't have anyone to go with me yet. I hope I don't end up having to eat a $200 ticket, or take someone who isn't a very big fan - how embarassing. I will not be wasting my time knitting for Neil again - I don't think he was impressed, LOL. I may just go giftless.

Oh, so embarassing! I ended up giving Chris a San Francisco Giants hat (local baseball team) and Neil a book. Chris glanced at the hat and said "oh, San Francisco, eh?" and I said yes and he stuffed it back in the bag, not impressed, lol. Then Neil flipped through the book and said "I don't know it - is it good?" Now I had all planned out how I was going to explain it to him but I blurted: "NO, Neil, I gave you a BAD BOOK!" like DUH! He looked at me like "WHAT?!?" Chris laughed and laughed. Then Neil just reached up and yanked my pass and started to sign it and I said "You didn't ASK if I wanted that signed!" and he just glared at me and dropped it. (So it says "Neil Ten___") and Chris was giggling and picked it up and said "It's in the contract!" While he signed. And I said "No I wanted it in Mint Condition!" laughing, and he said "No no! This is better!" I don't think my poor friend got a word in edgewise before we got the bum's rush out.
I just totally lost my mind - he looked so good I had a little meltdown I think, lol. I signed up for a Twitter account this morning so I could send them an apology. I hope he does read the book and enjoy it - I gave it to him because I thought he'd like it after all! Yeesh!
