How strange the movie "Monster vs Alien" was; anyone see it yet?
Nope - that doesn't look to interesting to me. Saw "I Love You, Man" and liked it a lot. The preview for Star Trek made it look interesting, which is weird because I don't actually like Star Trek.

I did end up seeing Star Trek a week or so ago - it was good! The guy who played Spock was foxy, lol.
Plus I got a new car - A Honda Fit! (I think it's called the Jazz in Europe, I might be wrong...it's a small 4-door hatchback.) I named it Hazel Viola, after my aunt Hazel and a lady I knew growing up named Viola Damm who ran the Damm Theater in the town where my mom grew up. Now my husband keeps calling it "That Damm car!" LOL!!! :D

That it's almost August already!
I'm happy I got tickets to see Pet Shop Boys in September in Chicago; Karlie is coming with me. This will be the first time Karlie and I get to see Pet Shop Boys perform; yay! :-)

I'll be seeing them next week in San Francisco - I also have tickets to the meet & greet. I bought a book for Neil and want to get Chris a hat but I don't know his size. :/
I'm also thinking about how awful the news has been lately locally - a lot of kidnappings and violence in schools...and that girl murdered at Yale. Very depressing!
