Thanks! I'd only seen the clip where they got up and left after a few minutes because of the press hounding them. (Yikes!)
The signing here in San Francisco was really horrible - they (the store employees) were literally shoving people through to get it over with as fast as possible. I had just enough time to hand them the gifts I'd brought and then the book was back in my hands and someone was cutting my wristband off and handing me a poster. I was like: and not in a good way, lol.

I think the people at the store were really caught off guard and overwhelmed. I had asked ahead of time about details and they didn't even know anything! They weren't expecting a crowd at all and then the day of the signing there was of course a mob there. The worst of it was someone from the store (I think) was talking to Neil when it was my turn and when I handed him my gift he sort of tossed it over his shoulder distractedly, barely glancing at it (and not at me at all). Chris at least looked at me and said "thank you" and put his under his chair, lol.
Well, I was really upset, but after the concert the next night my friend made sure we waited for them and I got to meet them again in a less crazy setting. (I say "less crazy" because for some odd reason there were only like maybe 20 or 30 people waiting around for autographs! San Francisco people are a little jaded maybe, haha.) It was a lot more personal and pleasant and made up for the signing entirely. Yay!
